App support

Get your weather working again.

Start with the quick fixes below. Weather, radar, alerts, place search, and travel planning all require an active internet connection.

Service help

Weather will not load

  1. Confirm your phone has Wi-Fi or cellular data.
  2. Close and reopen the app.
  3. Search for the location again or tap the location control.
  4. Try again shortly if a weather provider is temporarily unavailable.

Location is incorrect

Tap the location control and allow location access while using the app. You can also search for a U.S. city or town and select the correct result. The app remains usable if location permission is declined.

Alerts or notification setup

The Alerts tab shows active NWS alerts for the selected location. Seeing “no active alerts” is normal when none covers that point.

Notification permission can be changed in iPhone Settings. This release does not promise continuous automatic severe-weather push delivery, so keep Wireless Emergency Alerts enabled and use official NWS sources too.

Radar is blank or delayed

Radar imagery may take a moment to load. Check your connection, wait briefly, then reopen the Radar tab. A blank area can also mean the imagery provider is temporarily delayed.

Travel or event planning

Choose a destination from the search suggestions and a time within the available forecast window. Route and event results are planning guidance, not a guarantee of road safety or event safety.

Forecast looks different

Forecasts and observations update at different times and can change. The app prioritizes official NWS information where available. Check the update time, selected location, and official alert text before making safety decisions.
